The 2018 Welsh Athletics Clubs Conference will feature an exciting line up of presenters including; *Svend Elkjaer (from Sports Marketing Network) and **Scott Grace the Lead for Youth Development at England Athletics and the driving force behind the development and production of Athletics 365(XL) Coaching Resource. In addition there will be the usual opportunities to hear from clubs via the club workshops sessions as well as to network and share ideas with other like-minded club members and officers. Throughout the day we will be running some bespoke 1-2-1 club sessions showcasing both the new Welsh Athletics Clubs Portal and the Club Membership platform.

*Svend Elkjaer

Svend founded the Sports Marketing Network (SMN) in 2005 for people involved with the commercial, community and marketing issues across all sports and physical activity; be it a club, governing body, local authority or private sports deliverer. Over the last eight years, more than 4,000 sports providers have benefited from SMN’s services through workshops, presentations, consultancy and mentoring. Svend has worked with a variety of organisations a number of organisations and public bodies including sporting organisations such as; the RFU, Football Association of Wales Trust, Cricket Scotland, Amateur Swimming Association, British Gymnastics, Sport Wales, England Golf, Scottish Athletics, sportscotland, to name but a few.

**Scott Grace

Scott is now the Lead for Youth Development at England Athletics having previously been the National Coach Mentor for Youth Development. Prior to his work with England Athletics Scott worked for Sports Coach UK as a Coach Development Officer supporting and mentoring coaches across a variety of sports. In recent years Scott has written and developed a variety of resources including; Leading Athletics, Teaching Primary and Teaching Secondary Schools Athletics, and both the Athletics 365 and 365XL resources which have received international acclaim.
