Project Description | This space is used for all kinds of events, fairs, seminars. On the ceiling, surfaces where PI-LED lighting is applied and sealed with a stretch ceiling. The application of the PI-LED is a high technological integration in which the color temperature can be regulated from 1800K ( candlelight ) to 16000K ( blue sky ) and all RGB colors. A total of 350 PI-LED plates were integrated into the ceiling and all individually addressable. There are 16 pre-programmed scenes for easy operation. This is one of the largest PI-LED projects in Europe. |
Materials Used | All surfaces have different sizes and different heights which makes the architecture of the hall much stronger. The integration of the PI-LED technology is unique due to its spectrum width. The light can be controlled from 1800 Kelvin ( amber light or candlelight ) to 16000 Kelvin ( blue sky ) and thereby all RGB colors can be created. This worldwide patented light concept was developed from the Human Centric Light story. |
Sustainability | The integration in the illuminated surfaces is based on LED technology where the lifetime is estimated at 50 000 hours. According to the light hours used, we can say that they can be in operation for at least 20 years. |
Issues Faced | This concept has been exceptionally designed so that it is very easy to install and does not cause any problems for the installer. |
Additional Comments | The owner of this project has been in the hospitality business for over 40 years. For the customer, the integration of this lighting concept was a big bite out of the budget in the construction process. The result of making this choice is a growth in turnover due to larger requests, better customers and especially new customers. In Belgium, this project has already been in the press several times. |
